Who We Are

A Grassroots Voice for the Vulnerable

Orongo Widows and Orphans CBO is a community-based organisation rooted in Orongo village, Buoye sub-location, Kolwa East location, Kisumu East Sub-County, Kisumu, Kenya.

Founded in 2009, we mobilise vulnerable groups and build the capacity of orphans, widows, the abjectly poor, the abused and the very elderly — especially those still having dependants. We design and deliver programs that create real, lasting change at the grassroots level.
