Orphans Support Program

Our flagship program addresses the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children in Orongo village. Every child — regardless of the loss they have suffered — deserves access to education, nutrition, emotional support, and a safe environment.

The program runs on two tracks: school-based support covering school fees, uniforms and supplies; and home-based support deploying trained volunteers who conduct regular home visits covering nutritional assessments, psychosocial support, and health referrals.

Widows Livelihoods & Income Generation

Widowed women in our community face significant economic hardship — often without land rights, savings, or skills to generate reliable income while simultaneously raising children. This program is designed to change that reality.

We form structured savings and credit groups, enabling widows to pool resources and access small loans. We also provide capacity-building training in business management, financial literacy, tailoring, soap making, food processing, and market-oriented agribusiness.

Health Promotion Program

Good health is the foundation of everything we seek to build. Our health promotion program targets youth, women, and other vulnerable community members with practical health education, awareness campaigns, and access to natural health products.

We run community health forums covering reproductive health, maternal and child health, disease prevention, and mental well-being — held in schools, churches, and community centres. We also promote natural health products and locally available nutritious foods as complements to conventional medicine.

Kitchen Gardens Promotion Program

Food insecurity is one of the most immediate realities for the families we serve. Our kitchen gardens program offers a practical, affordable solution — helping households transform even the smallest space into productive vegetable gardens.

We provide training in garden setup, soil preparation, composting, water conservation, and organic pest management. Participants grow kale, tomatoes, spinach, onions, beans, and traditional African vegetables — creating food sufficiency and small market surpluses for additional income.
